Be creative! Make a soap that is uniquely yours. Glycerine soap is softer and kinder to the skin than most commercial brands.
Enough to make 20 slices of soap ( from 2kg base)
Instructions:
Step one: Melt the base. Microwave method. Cut in to chunks. Place in suitable jug. Microwave on low power for 1 minutes intervals, stirring between each interval until soap is liquid. Do not over heat. Base can also be melted like chocolate using a indirect heat. ie. In a bowl over a pan of hot water.
Step two: Add ingredients. You can try anything you fancy but in moderation. If using pure essential oils you need to add only 5ml - 10ml per 0.5kg. Why not add Lavender seeds or orange peel. You may add food colouring if required.
Step three: Pour the Soap. With a bit of imagination you can use all sorts of every day items (jelly moulds, sweet containers etc) as soap moulds. Leave the soap to set. If you have trouble removing the soap from the mould - cooling in a fridge will help.
Warning: Younger children must be supervised by an adult. Not for internal use.
